Foster care was tough but there is a loving side of foster care. I would not be who I am today without the unconditional love that my foster parents had for me and a fantastic social worker who taught me to own my life and never give up! My sister was shot and killed while I was living in foster care at 16 years old. I dedicate this song to her as well as the lonely, hopeless, rejected, motherless, fatherless and the precious children in foster care.
